Why Choose YRO WiFi Rapid Shutdown?
1. WiFi RSD connects to mobile devices via wireless networks, enabling users to remotely control the power equipment switches. With an active network connection, users can monitor and manage devices in real time without needing to be physically present on-site.
2. Equipped with real-time data monitoring capabilities, WiFi RSD collects and reports critical device metrics such as current, voltage, and temperature, ensuring precise tracking of operational status.
3. WiFi RSD features intelligent automation, capable of executing shutdown operations automatically based on preset conditions, such as overload or overheating, enhancing safety and reliability.
4. With versatile applications, WiFi RSD is widely used across industries, including photovoltaics, smart homes, telecommunications, and agriculture.
About Rapid Shutdown
1.1 Intended Use of the Rapid Shutdown
The Rapid Shutdown has been especially developed as a safety device for direct current (DC) photovoltaic installations. The DC disconnect switch is used to disconnect the connected strings of the installation in case of an emergency situation.
Such an emergency situation could be in case of fifire.
1.2 Location of the Rapid Shutdown
The Rapid Shutdown needs to be placed as close to the solar panels as possible. Due to its enclosure, the switch is protected against external inflfluences like dust and moisture. The whole set-up is conformed to IP66 which makes it suitable for outdoor usage when needed.
